October Case-Shiller Index up 5.5 percent year-on-year, unchanged from September
The S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller U.S. National Home Price NSA Index reported a 5.5% annual gain in October, remaining the same from the previous month. Before seasonal adjustment, the National Index posted a month-over-month gain of 0.1% in October.
November personal income rose 0.2 percent, personal spending rose 0.4 percent
Both November personal income and disposable personal income increased 0.2 percent, while personal consumption expenditures (PCE) increased 0.4 percent. The personal savings rate fell from 6.1 to 6.0 percent.
State Street: December Investor Confidence dipped another 2.8 points to 79.8
The Global Investor Confidence Index decreased to 79.8, down 2.8 points from November’s revised reading of 82.6. Federal Reserve commentary and actions, trade disputes, Chinese growth and a slowdown in corporate earnings growth all contributed to the decline.
