4-story housing development propose South Oak Park Ave

A new mixed-use development proposed for a vacant lot near the Oak Park Avenue Blue Line stop has some residents concerned over its density and height. During a July 12 community meeting, developers with The Community Builders Inc. unveiled their plans for a four-story, 37-unit development at 801 S. Oak Park Ave. The building would include 900 square feet of first-floor commercial space, and would be built on the vacant lot just north of the former Divine Consign business.
