USGBC celebrates the newest certified cities and communities.
The virtual celebration is on Dec. 15. According to USGBC, all over the world, changemakers at the city scale—mayors, planners, developers, sustainability directors, designers and investors—are coming together to collaborate and catalyze a new generation of healthy, high-performance, inclusive cities and communities.
USGBC has proven its approach, setting intentional goals, implementing best practices, measuring progress and certifying achievement to be the standard at the forefront of sustainable development. With LEED for Cities and Communities, local governments, developers, enterprises and organizations can adopt a comprehensive management framework for sustainability and demonstrate leadership through certification at the city or community scale.
