Insight Homes newly opened Whatley model homes showcases the best features of their newest community, The Reserve at Stonewater Creek

Insight Homes hosted a ribbon cutting for their newest furnished model in Millsboro, Delaware. in April. Receiving widespread praise in the previous section, The Woods at Stonewater Creek, Insight Homes is continuing their work in the Stonewater Creek community. The newest section, The Reserve at Stonewater Creek, has already garnered attention from prospective homebuyers.

The team began construction for The Reserve section of homes in mid-2017.

The newly opened model home features the community’s most sought after floor plan in The Reserve, called the Whatley, which offers families versatility. It features three bedrooms; two bathrooms; a private, first floor owner’s suite with expansive walk-in closet; two-car garage; and a spacious kitchen with wooden cabinets and granite countertops. The Whatley was voted Best Green Home by the Home Builders Association of Delaware in 2016. With this floor plan, homeowners have a variety of customizable options, including a second story, with up to three additional bedrooms.

“This was a popular plan in other communities, but the model and community already existed, we just took over building,” says Insight Homes Marketing Manager Lisa Thornton. “We took our popular Whatley floor plan and added a new elevation for this new furnished model.”

Furnished by a professional interior design team, the model emanates a chic and elegant feel with a coastal flair.

“The Whatley was one of our best sellers in 2017,” says Thornton. “It’s one of my favorite floor plans we offer. The Coastal Elevation with its board and batten trim, metal roof accents, and charming, round windows has a ton of curb appeal. Once people see this beautifully furnished model, we anticipate the sales of our Whatley to increase further over the next year.”

The model turned out beautifully, and you can see the thought the team has put into ensuring privacy for the homeowner. Overall, The Reserve at Stonewater Creek community feels secluded, surrounded by thick woods or farmland. The way that you enter the community shows the rear of the house to be exposed, so Insight Homes paid special attention to the design of the rear elevation to give homeowners privacy—including a special patio design with an outdoor fireplace in the new furnished model.
