Startup unveils sleek new tiny homes capable of generating energy for modern off-grid living
Construction company Cosmic Buildings recently launched “Cosmic One,” a tiny sustainable prefab home designed to address both environmental challenges and the U.S. housing crisis, according to The Cool Down. Built with off-site construction techniques to reduce waste, the Cosmic One features solar power, water recycling, enhanced air filtration and non-toxic materials. The goal, according to the company’s founder, is to create homes that generate at least as much energy as they consume, contributing to net-zero goals.
The units can be installed in backyards as ADUs or off-grid locations. The units also have customizable layouts and start at $279,000.
