U.S. Green Building Council Announces 2025 Board Members and Officers
Members of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) recently ratified a slate of three candidates for appointment to the organization’s 2025 Board of Directors. The newly elected board members add important perspectives and expertise from the USGBC community to advance USGBC’s Strategic Imperatives. The three newly elected board members currently serve in leadership positions with longtime USGBC member companies: Bank of America, Vornado Realty Trust and WSP USA.
According to USGBC, Alexandra (Alex) Liftman, global environmental executive, Bank of America: Liftman is responsible for Bank of America’s global environmental sustainability strategy, including business integration, operational initiatives, employee programs, public and corporate policy, and philanthropic and other investments. She works with leaders across the company to steward Bank of America’s sustainability strategy and goals and collaborates with the Global Sustainable Finance Group and lines of business on the company’s 10-year goal to mobilize and deploy $1.5 trillion in sustainable finance by 2030. She has been named to Worth Magazine’s Worthy 100 and Sustainability Magazine’s lists of the Top 100 Women in Sustainability and Top 250 Sustainability Leaders. Liftman is a graduate of the College of William and Mary, where she received a Bachelor of Science in mathematics.
